If you are an Administrator, you can edit a user’s account information, Designation, User Type, or Status within the User's tab.
As an administrator, you may need to edit current user accounts if a user needs different capabilities within E-Vite, are inactive, have left the company, etc.
To edit a user account:
- Go to Settings > Users.
- Hover over a row, then click the pencil icon on the far right.
- Edit the fields you’d like to change.
- Changing a user’s type between Basic and Administrator will alter the features they have access to and what they can perform on the portal. Administrators cannot change their own user type and must contact Fintech to do so.
- Changing a user’s status from Invited to Expired will expire their previous invite link so that they cannot register to access E-Vite.
- Changing a user’s status from Active to Inactive will remove their access to E-Vite.
- Click Save Changes.
⚠️ You can inactivate yourself, but doing so will remove your access to E-Vite. Do not do this unless you are requested to.
Re-Inviting Users
If a user has an Invited, Expired, or Denied status, you can resend an invitation to their email.
- Re-Send Invite sends an Invited user a new invite via email that they must open within the same 30 days from when the original invite was sent.
- Re-Invite User sends an Expired or Denied user a new registration link via email that they must open within 30 days.
To do either:
- Go to Settings > Users.
- Hover over the Invited, Expired, or Denied user’s row and click the pencil
- Click Resend Invite (Invited) or Re-Invite User (Expired or Denied).
Access Requests
You may have users send you a request to join the E-Vite platform rather than them being invited. You will receive notification of these access requests via email.
From the email, click the Login to Web App button and login to E-Vite:
Once in E-Vite, go to Settings > Users – you will see a number notification on the tab that reflects how many access requests there are.
Click the Approve/Deny button on a user’s row to access their profile, then Approve or Deny their access request:
