How do I invite new users to E-Vite?

In the Users tab, you can view team members' E-Vite account information or invite new users.

Administrators will have access to the Users tab, which shows which of your colleagues are using E-Vite. You can view their name, contact email, job role (Designation), user type (Basic or Administrator), join date, and account status. Type in a first and/or last name within the search bar or use the filter options to narrow down the list of users within the table.

User Information

User Types

There are two user types that can be assigned to an account when inviting a new user: Basic or Administrator. These user types can view or perform the following:

Basic

Administrator

  • Invite new retailers and send invite reminders in Accounts (reviewed by Administrator).
  • View invited retailers and invite statuses in Activity.
  • View team-wide activity and your user invitation data in Leaderboard.
  • Request access to other vendor accounts and view current relationships in Settings > Organization (reviewed by Administrator).
  • Edit your profile information and state preferences in Settings > Preferences.
  • Contact Fintech in Settings > Contact Us.
  • Perform same functionalities as a basic user.
  • See companywide invitation data in Home > Snapshot widget.
  • Send invite reminders to retailers on behalf of users in Activity.
  • View team-wide activity and user invitation data in Leaderboard.
  • Invite, edit, and deactivate users (bypasses Administrator review) in Settings > Users.
  • Manage user access requests in Settings > Users.
  • Edit vendor logo in Settings > Organization.

⚠️ We suggest assigning more than one Administrator per vendor account for easier account management.

User Statuses

If a user has a Fintech account and they have interacted with E-Vite, they can have one of the following account statuses:

  • Active – User has registered with E-Vite and able to send invitations to retailers.
  • Inactive – User is no longer allowed to access E-Vite.
  • Invited – User has been sent an invite to register with E-Vite but has not done so.
  • Expired – The invitation sent to the user to register with E-Vite has expired and needs to be resent.
  • Requested – A user has requested access to E-Vite outside of an invite.
  • Denied – A user who sent an access request that was denied.'

⚠️ Administrators can change a user's account status. Click here for more information: Where can I manage access requests, invited users, and current users?

Inviting Users

To invite a colleague to use E-Vite:

  1. Go to Settings > Users.
  2. Click the Invite User button.
  3. Fill in the fields with the user’s information, Designation, choose a User Type, then click Invite User.

💡 For the Designation field, pick the role that most closely matches your job. These do not impact your account capabilities.

⚠️ Make sure you assign the correct user type to the account – Choosing Basic or Administrator will determine your account’s features.
